Well the first time it was mentioned, it was then rubbished as only being exploratory. I didnt really pay much attention after that.

5 To Go

Mickael Silvestre
Good servant but its time for him and the club to move on.

Kieran Richardson
Doesn't have the mental capacity to marshal whatever talent and potential he had in his youth to progress to senior team regular.

Chris Eagles / Phil Bardsley / Dong Fangzhuo
These three need to be moved on for the sake of their careers really. If recent strengthening in midfield has put Richardson place in the squad in serious jeopardy then its put Eagles’ in critical condition. Bardsley hasn’t capitalised on his breakthrough that was made in GNev’s absence, or taken advantage of the loan spells he’s had since then, and now he’s about to be usurped by younger and more talented defenders that are ready to give us fresh strength in depth. As for Dong, I know he’s not really had a chance, and he’s probably still enduring an adaptation period but if I’m honest I don’t think he’s going to get enough of a shot to make an impact though out of these three he's probably got the best chance of hanging around for a while.

And if its not too late...

Top Ten United Favourites

10 – Paul Scholes
09 – Eric Cantona
08 – Andrei Kanchelskis
07 – Roy Keane
06 – Peter Schmeichel
05 – Gary Neville
04 – Mark Hughes
03 – Cristiano Ronaldo
02 – Juan Veron
01 – Dennis Irwin

The top three/four will probably remain the same for a fair old while but 6-1 have a tendency to change depending what I’m thinking about and appreciating at the time.
