I need some tips please.

I have a good alround striker, who likes to shoot first time.

Trouble is, because he doesn't take a first touch, he tends to hit it straight at the keeper or put it wide.

Shame, cause I reckon he could be a good striker otherwise.

Any thoughts about how to get the best out of him?

you could try putting the long shots marker all the way back, should make him take a touch and move closer to goal, either that or set him sa target man with instructions to run on to ball, this should put him closer to goal before shooting.
