It's been a while since I last posted but I waited for fm2008 bfore playing then I went and got married ... but at last I have begun as ADESG.

I created my new manager as automatic experience and began.

ADESG in Brazilian 3rd division are tasked to fight relegation from div 3 or 2 seasons.

I got the sack on 2.1.08 after the team finished bottom of league with 3 wins and 11 losses.

Therefore: I Failed in my task.

However, this is weird. I went on holiday indefinatly. I set apply for jobs and come back from holiday when job offered.

Dortmund sacked Doll and offered me the job. (I have a few european leagues running as well as Brazil)

Obviously in real life Dortmund are not going to offer a job to a guy who has only managed to get a team a relegated from Brazil div 3 and no other experience at all. So, I can't take it.

But I'm now stuck... should I start again as ADESG? or should I continue on? If I continue on what level of teams can I accept?

Remember the game is offering me first division jobs which is plain stupid. What would you do?

Plain and simple. Ask yourself if it's realistic to go to a first division club, or if it'd be realistic to look for lower league clubs.

Guiness 79. Thanks for replying but I guess I did not word my question correctly.

Should I continue playing and accept only lower league offers or should i restart as ADESG. Or should I ask Frank for another team?

This issue is a known problem in FM and hopefully is soon to be cured.

I'd say therefore start again or, only accept a job at a LL club.

Starting again with the same club isn't actually realistic as you've now had a practise run so to speak.

Depends really whether you're going for a career save, or just dipping your toes. It'd be better to stick with this one and wait for a lower division job (can't restart real life can we?), but having said that, it's your game, do whatever you want with it.
