Thanks for the advice guys. I've continued the game and accepted a job offer from Brasil de Pelotas in Brazilian 3rd division which is more realistic.

Three Season Update,

Season 1 2007-8 ADESG sacked after team was relegated from Brazil div 3

Season 2 offered Dortmund and brasil De Pelotas jobs so took Brasil job in Brazilian div 3.

Finished 5th in 3rd div final league with 21 points

Season 3. found a gem of a player but could only loan him. Finished 4th with 20 pts.
PROMOTED to DIV 2

Did nothing in any cup but happy with Promotion. But board not happy with finances. I must sort them out somehow.

My contract is running out and no sign of renewal. I'm hoping the promotion will persuade them.

If it has been set high, this might be why Dortmund offered you the job?

I always assumed that Automatic mean't no experience, not randomised.

If you manage for instance Chelsea it would give you an ex international football experience and massive reputation.
A lower league team such as Hyde would give you more than likely an unproven reputation and possibly a semi-pro experience.

Although if he started in the Brazil Division 3, it shouldn't of given him a very high reputation, most likely a professional footballer.

Even so Dortmund should not be offering a job to him.

But he had previous managerial experience and his reputation was already very high.

I wonder what reputation "Automatic" would give you as a manager starting at Barcelona B. I would expect it to be Professional footballer, which was what Jose was, albeit not a top class one.
