For the 2nd year in a row I'm moving up the ranks from sunday leaguer to full time manager in Brazil. I took a job offer from Iraty from the state of Parana half way through their season. We finished strong getting into the 2nd stage.

So now I've been offered a new contract and have been asked about my expectations for the forthcoming season. However, I'm unclear which "season" do they mean. Is it the state tournament or the 3rd div. league? I ask cause I know previous FMs count brazilian state tournaments as league victories in your manager profile. When the actual 3rd division league starts will the board ask me again for expectations? And if the the expectations refer to the league, what is a mid-table finish when the league is just 1 phase after another?

It SHOULD specify - if promotion is involved, it's definitely D3

cool thanks! The degrees of expectations are so drastic for 3d in brazil. a top half finish in your first group is far far different and less of a task than promotion, which is about the ultimate gauntlet in the game.
