A friend of mine had told me of some of the the fireworks that happen on this arm of the Forums. Wow. Never thought it would get this bad over something so innocuous.

The chap was being nice to you, and dare I say, respectful.

I'm an English teacher - very few of you, dare I say 'us', have used correct grammar, spelling or punctuation on the majority of these posts.

Give the gentleman a break. <--- Americanism.
