Christ, you could have cleaned up while I was away.

Anyway, I've gone and done it, started another game of FM.....so to help me find my Llama legs and get back into it (and who knows, maybe help some fledglings out there too)....

...I've let FM2007 run for a season just to see if my PC would handle it (been having hardware problems, long story).

So now I'm a year in, taken a job at newly promoted AFC Telford - here are my questions.

1. I've got no staff, so I've advertised for a scout and an ass man - am I wasting my time on FM2007 or can I/should I use the dreaded search screen?


2. I've only got 14 players - is there a legitimate way of finding pre-season trialists, or should I wait for my scout (if and when I get one) to find them?

I spent it on a can of compressed air which got my computer running again, it's amazing what a clean up will do for your PC!

Seriously, not looking for filth...last time I was here (around FM2005) my two questions were grey areas in the Llama code, but if you think I'm tiptoeing into Tipland I'll tip my hat and tip off.

Bottom line, MITF, is that the Job Centre in FM07 is improved 100% on previous versions.

It's really up to yourself whether you wait for applications or have a wee dabble in the Staff screen...personally I'd wait.

Thanks for the reply Ian...and on second thoughts, sod the player shortage I can only start with eleven anyway... I've just realised in this version you can make the greys into whiteys.

Result! Relegation here we come. \0/
