I've heard a rumour Billericay are trying to get the game switch to Roots Hall even though I was under the impression the FA had put a stop to ground switches.
Also any chance I can have my update thread back some time soon?  | |

The local police can order a move on safety grounds, but you're right in saying Billericay can't change it just because they want to.
I remember Newcastle Town playing Notts County in the first round about ten years ago. The tie had to be switched to Stoke's old Victoria Ground as if it hadn't, all the fans would have ended up on the pitch at Lyme Valley Stadium.
Nearly 5000 turned up for it, many were Stoke fans giving their support to their tiny neighbours.
Lyme Valley Stadium is supposed to be able to hold 4000, but it looked rather full when FC United of Manchester visited for a league game last season and around 1700 attended.

Just a quick update, after throwing a complete hissey fit after having to deal with the constant moaning of my players I've quit Vila Nova & never want to darken the doors of Brazilian football again.
