I see very few people have decided to read (or take heed of) the thread about posting nothing. What gets me is that nobody will likely end up saying anything because you two are "regulars."

Now, Wes, what I think you're asking is whether or not it may be effective to train them. And ask yourself, will you improve if you hit the pitch for training once a week? Is that better than never doing any?

Wes - you can try. I always attempt to attract the best coaching staff to whatever team I have, badger the board for better training facilities and have a play with the training screen.

Thing is, at that sort of level (one I am most familiar with too), you don't get to train your team that often and as such I reckon it has a much lesser effect on their attributes. That notwithstanding, I'd always have a go regardless. It couldn't hurt, right?

Well there's a revelation. Are you telling me that by always trying to attract the worst I'm making some sort of basic error?

I found that putting them on a potty and then praising them if they did anything seemed to work. By the time my kids left home they were both trained.

Thanks for quoting a part of my entire post out of context

I figured I'd post a helpful response.
