Cobh Ramblers Irish First Division 2012

Board Expectation: Safe mid-table
Fans Expectation: Invest in new players and rebuild the team
Media Prediction: 7th

We were in 3rd for almost the whole season, but after a poor run we fell to 6th with 2 matches left and stayed there. Had my first cup final this year, although it's not much of an achievement as we lost to the only other league team in the competition.

First Division: 6th, 48 pts
League Cup: First Round 0-4 Waterford United
Senior Challenge Cup: Third Round Replay 1-3 Galway united
Munster Senior Cup: Final 0-3 Cork City

Other Winners:

English Premiership: Liverpool
FA Cup: Wigan

Scottish Premier League: Celtic
Scottish Cup: Aberdeen

Welsh Premier League: Bangor City
Welsh Cup: Ton Pentre

N. Irish Premier League: Dundela
Irish Cup: Glenavon

Irish Premier League: Bray Wanderers
Senior Challenge Cup: U.C.D.

Cobh Ramblers Irish First Division 2013

Board Expectation: Safe mid-table
Fans Expectation: Invest in new players and rebuild the team
Media Prediction: 6th

I decided that as I was bored of the Irish First Division, I would resign if we didn't get promoted. We were never close to the only automatic promotion spot, but were always around 2nd place and the playoff place. We finished 2nd and so qualified for the promotion playoffs.

In the playoffs we met Finn Harps. They didn't quite go as I planned and we lost the home leg 3-0. We scored first in the second leg, but couldn't get any more and drew 1-1, meaning we lost 4-1 on aggregate. I resigned a day later.

First Division: 2nd, 60 pts - Playoffs
League Cup: First Round 0-2 Waterford United
Senior Challenge Cup: Quarter Final 0-2 Cork City
Munster Senior Cup: Final 0-2 Cork City

Record at Cobh Ramblers:

League: P:85 W:35 D:25 L:25 GF:131 GA:99 GD:+32 Pts:130
Cups: P:15 W:7 D:2 L:6 GF:24 GA:23 GD:+1 Pts:23
Total: P:100 W:42 D:27 L:31 GF:155 GA:122 GD:+33 Pts:153

Other Winners:

English Premiership: Arsenal
FA Cup: Liverpool

Scottish Premier League: Celtic
Scottish Cup: Dunfermline Ath

Welsh Premier League: Bangor City
Welsh Cup: TNS

N. Irish Premier League: Dundela
Irish Cup: Ballymena Utd

Irish Premier League: Shelbourne
Senior Challenge Cup: Cork City

Glebe Rangers Northern Irish Second Division 2013/14

I was offered the Glebe job on 16th December on a 2-and-a-half-year contract and accepted. They were bottom when I arrived, 3 points adrift of guaranteed safety with 9 games remaining.

Board Expectation: Win the Second Division
Fans Expectation: Achieve promotion
Media Prediction: 2nd

A great start and 6 games unbeaten, followed by a loss and 2 draws meant we only climbed to 10th, just above the relegation playoff places.

Second Division: 10th, 24 pts
Intermediate League Cup: Group Stage (before I arrived)
Antrim Trophy: Quarter Final 1-2 Ballymena United Reserves (before I arrived)
Intermediate Cup: Second Round 1-2 Crewe United (before I arrived)
Antrim Cup: Quarter Final 1-2 Ards (before I arrived)
Irish Cup: Sixth Round 2-3 Ards

Other Winners:

English Premiership: Liverpool
FA Cup: Man City

Scottish Premier League: Celtic
Scottish Cup: Kilmarnock

Welsh Premier League: Llanelli
Welsh Cup: Ton Pentre

N. Irish Premier League: Linfield
Irish Cup: Linfield

Glebe Rangers Northern Irish Second Division 2014/15

Board Expectation: Safe mid-table

I only got one league win and on 9th November I was issued with an ultimatum, win the next match or be sacked; I went out in a blaze of glory, losing 7-3!

Second Division: 11th, 5 pts (9 games)
Intermediate League Cup: Group Stage
Antrim Trophy: Fourth Round 0-1 Distillery II
Intermediate Cup: First Round 0-1 Moyola Park
Irish Cup: Fourth Round (when I left)

Record at Glebe:

League: P:18 W:4 D:7 L:7 GF:21 GA:23 GD:-2 Pts:19
Cups: P:12 W:5 D:0 L:7 GF:14 GA:15 GD:-1 Pts:15
