Kettering Town English Conference North 2033/34

This was my first offer, and this time I wasn't picky and accepted immediately. They were 6th when I arrived, just one point off the playoffs.

Lost just one of the remaining games and so we made the playoffs. We met Worksop in the semi-final, beating them 6-2 at home in the first leg, meaning I could rest many important players for the second leg, which finished 1-1.

In the final we played Leigh RMI. We dominated the first half, leading 2-0 at half time. The second half was largely uneventful, and after they had a player sent off after 50 minutes, we never looked in danger.

Conference North: 4th, 69 pts - Playoffs
FA Cup: First Round 1-2 York City (before I arrived)
FA Trophy: First Round 1-2 Notts County (before I arrived)

Wakehurst managed to get five points from their five games after I left and were relegated.

We were flirting with the relegation zone all season. We beat 20th place Southport 5-0 to place us above them on goal difference with two games left. We went into the last game against promotion-chasing Scunthorpe needing to equal or better Southport to survive. We lost 4-1, they won 2-0. Relegation and resignation followed.

Conference National: 21st, 38 pts - Relegated
FA Cup: Fourth Qualifying Round 1-1 Nuneaton Borough (AET Lost 3-2 on pens)
FA Trophy: Third Rouund 0-1 Oxford Utd

Normally I would have stayed, but I just don't seem to enjoy managing in England. I don't know why, just prefer managing elsewhere.

I've just taken the job at Mullingar Town in the Irish First Division, bottom of the league. Should be challenging

I am consistently at the bottom of yellow card tables, and have seen a total of 2 red cards to my team in my 3ish seasons on my current save...

Well it seems this save has died. It won't load and my backup goes all the way back to my time at Wakehurst.

Looks like I'll be starting FM08 at last
