You need a shift key, and other punctuation, for two good reasons:

1) Failure to use them makes you look stupid

2) A number of users do not speak English as their first language, so may completely fail to understand you when you type things like "guess ill just..." and they have to work out that you mean I'll and not ill.

Since you don't seem to be able to locate the Shift-keys, I'll help you out. It has an upwards arrow. What really gives it out though - hold on to your hat boys! - "Shift" is actually printed on the damn things! Can you believe it???

Mine are just upward arrows. Don't say shift anywhere.
