Our Spanish llamas will most likely know, maybe some others... are there any restrictions in affilate clubs for Spain? Now I'm patched I fancy a change from playing in England all the time.

As far as I know, no. There are no restrictions regarding affiliations within Spain (with clubs outside Spain I really don't know).

Bingo Sancho. Me holidaying there kind of gave it away.
The island is represented by a team (Union Deportiva Lanzarote) who play in the island's capital, Arrecife.
I wanted to ensure that any affilations I was thrust upon, or chased, did not break Spanish League rules.
The bloody registration/foreign/u23 player rules are confusing me already and the season hasn't even started yet.  | |

ah, that must be a cool place to have a team. The major concern is not the team you play against every week, but the beaches, sun, girls, drinks...
They even have a large stadium, pretty cool! (did you go to a match?)
The rules are actually simple for Spanish LL teams, don't worry you will get it!

I can imagine it must be a bit of an arse to get to non Canarian away games.

To give that statement some strength... I've just lost 2-0 at Athletico Madrid B. How come I am playing Madrid if the Second Division B is supposed to be regionalised?
