2015/16 - Varese, Ita Serie C2/A (+40k/mth)
The squad's Young Spaniards Collective do very well all season. Although the striker signed with four games to go last season who immediately got in a tizzy for being substituted still hadn't shut up about it 6 months later. Eventually he calmed down with a renewed contract... only to take offense at being subbed in the very next game and to keep it all bloody season.
Come to that, most of the squad were arses to each other or to me most of the year. A lot of people deciding they were too big for the club, or that another player's favourite person was a showboating moron. Despite that, and a poor start, we eventually finished 4th and into the playoffs again. In the Italian Cup - in for the first time in my time - we went out three rounds in to Cisco Roma. Who we also met in the final of the Serie C Cup, and lost narrowly.

So close to another trophy...
In the playoffs, though -
success! Walked the semi and hung on for a 4-3 aggregate win in the final. Which means Serie C1 for Varese next season. Hooray!
But not for me, though. Despite winning promotion and being in the black again, the club's still on a financial tightrope and, frankly, I can't be buggered to deal with this bunch of snotty primadonnas during a relegation battle. So I quit at the start of the 2016 season. Let's see where the Wrath Of Frank will fall next...
