PCros is infamous around these parts
Default How long does it take to move to a better league?

Hey,

I'm currently managing St.Pats (4th season with them) in the Irish Premier League and have done fairly well with them (yet to win the league) but have won a few cups.

Thing is, out of curiosity I went to apply for a team called Leigh in the Blue Square league and I was turned down??

I'm managing a team that would fit into the Coca cola league 2 but I get rejected by a tiny team?

How long does it take before you become an established manager.

Thanks

You might be a relatively well known manager in Ireland, but that doesn't mean the English care about you one bit.

A team called Leigh you say? Never heard of them.

It might by something to do with your nationality if you have it set to Irish. Also, I think clubs tend to favour unemployed managers so they won't have to pay compensation (I think that's in the game).

Unusually ( ), Craig has made a valid point. In my 07 save I had to resign from Cwmbran and sit unemployed for 6 months before an English league club would take me on, despite my success in Cymru.

Leigh? Only a bunch of idiots would congregate from all over Britain and Northern Ireland at Telford to watch them being humped 3-0 by United at The New Buck's Head

Try applying for Scotland National team job. You'll only need a few games, and then get a job elsewhere no problem.

Was just wondering if anyone was in the same boat.

Yeah the nationality is set to Irish, but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

As for affording me, I'm only on €1,200 a week? That sounds wrong!?

Craig, your point is probably correct, but don't want to be unemployed coz its fairly boring if nothing is happening.
