Board/Fans - Fight bravely against relegation
Prediction - 22nd (of 22)
Finished 21st P:42 W:4 D:10 L:28 F:48 A:78 Pts:22 Relegated
Last seasons success, made me concerned that we were not ready for this one. And rightly so! We started out holding up the league and stayed there, until the final game of the season when we managed a win to lift us to the lofty heights of 21st place. We didn't win our first game till November. Our second win came in late January. Upfront we were ok, at the back we were shocking.
So its straight back to Serie C1. Thankfully, this years increased income put us back into the black. I had a transfer budget for the first time and promptly splurged on a young DM who looked great. Unfortunately, he broke his leg 3 days after arriving and only managed to play the last 3 games of the season.
Cups were non-existent, out in 1st round of Serie B Cup.
Players In - 6 for 50K
Players out - 8 for 0K
My and Fans POTY - New Frog ST Avg:7.12 18 Goals (32 Apps) Interesting Note: New back up GK, probably set a record for most injuries in one season, total of 10 times injured for a grand total of 7 months on the sidelines! |

Goals against in league should be 87 (not 78) Yes we had the worst defence in the league!
And it should be out in 1st round of Italian cup, not Serie B cup!

After an off-season fight with my Board about investing in training facilities, I and the board were not happy! So I resigned from Paganese on June 22nd.
Happily, a newly promoted English Conference league North club accepted my services. So, off north to scouser land to help marine AFC to greater glory!
One look at the team and I thought OMG! I've made a huge mistake. i guess i was lucky to have at least 11 'real' players and about 30 'greys'. But no staff apart from me and the Chairman.
Anyways, onwards and upwards, I thought this is 'real' LLM.(he said as tears fell into his pint)
Season update very soon!

great job relegating the team (us fans have short term memory) and then jumping ship before it crashes...
AFC.. must google that team, never heard of it (not a big surprise though). |

They are just called Marine in FM, but I took a look at their website and seems their real name is Marine AFC. Nice little website as well
Here's a link for you! Marine AFC |

So, after my off season hissy fit with the Paganese board, I quit and after only a few days, got the job at Marine, newly promoted to the ECN.
Board/Fans - Fight bravely against relegation
Prediction - 21st (of 22)
Finished - 16th P:42 W:12 D:12 L:18 F:47 A:60 Pts:48
Started the pre-season with just enough players for a starting XI. Including 4 contracted 'key players' using more than half of my wage budget, who all turned out to be carp!No staff and not much hope of avoiding the drop. On the plus side, the club was actually in the black (only just mind you) and i had a transfer budget. A whopping 7K. But even that was useless, as no-one worth money would even consider coming to this hellhole.
Managed to get a couple of ordinary players by seasons start to give me a subs bench and in desperation signed a few of the 'greys' to help out.
Started the season badly with a 5-1 loss to Altrincham. Then another hammering to Kettering and things were looking desperate! But surprisingly managed a draw here and a win there, to drag us out of the relegation zone by Christmas.
We would continue to hover just above the relegation spots for the rest of the year. In the end we were safe with 1 game to spare, finishing 3 points above the drop zone. But only 8 points separated the bottom 8 teams, so it was tight.
Cups were a waste of time!
Players In - 12 for 0k (including 3 greys)
Players Out - 1 for 0k
My and Fans POTY - Veteran ST Avg: 7:11 19 Goals (35 Apps) Interesting Note: Finished 1st league game, 5-1 hammering by Altrincham, received the following news! : Veteran DC sets New Club League Games Record - 107 games New ST sets New Club League Goals record - 1 goal
Hmmm....think about it No goals must have scored in the previous League Games, which there must have been at least 106.
