As a Colchester fan I can't bring mysefl to utter his name without the need to add the 'C' word to the end.

I hope so, the bloke is useless.

He just plays his favourite players, even if it means playing them out of position.

He obviously can't figure out his best XI. No wonder the team's morale is so bad and we lose 5-0 to **** like Sheffield Wednesday.

Anyway, I'll stop hijacking the thread now, and say that I hope Eastleigh's success continues in this save!

2010/2011 Season
Well after last seasons disappointment a couple more players were added to the squad add a couple out. The season got off to a great start with some good runs of results. Kept within the top 3 all season and with the last game to go we all could win. Up against the 3rd place team a win with the current leaders drawing or losing would see me through. The top team drew but unfortunately I fell to 2-0 defeat. So into the playoffs again and, for the 3rd time in successive seasons, a late (extra time now) goal, saw us stay in the Bet Square South.

2011/2012 Season
After a few seasons of consistently good league performances I chanced my arm and told the board I'd attempt a title challenge. Unfortunately a poor mid-season put paid to that and even with a good streak towards the end of the season I couldn't overhaul my poor start and finished outside the playoff places 4 points. To next season then.

was a little miffed really as I toyed between saying promotion and top half finish. Then I got a rush of blood and said title challenge. To be honest I'm glad I didn't say I'd bring home the title otherwise I think I'd have been out on me bum.

2012/2013 Season
With the goal of the season being promotion I set about getting my scout to unearth some players to give the squad depth. Over the course of the season I pretty much added a 2nd eleven. However it was a purchase from a previous season who was really a revelation. The young striker who I'd previously had on loan scored an impressive 47 goals, thirty six of those in the league. However, despite the firepower up front we missed out on the title. Yet again it was the playoffs and a 2-0 win over Basingstoke in both legs saw us make it to the final. However, yet again, we fail as two quick goals canceled out our good start and 1-0 lead. A third in the 2nd half pretty much put us out of the game. However a quick strike from the substitute left-winger gave us hope but in the end it was a 3-2 defeat.
