Default Queens Park-a tale of haggis and caber tossing.

Hey It's been ages fellas but I've been playing Football Manager on the PSP so much and I just wanted to post my efforts here. I hope the PSP is acceptable to LLM people(I did check the rules and didn't see the "It's too easy on the PSP so you can't use it" rule. Oh and yes I do have '07 but I have had trouble getting into LLM in it(and anyway I can play my PSP when I should be sleeping) Anyway I am Queen's Park, in the Scottish Division 3.

'05-'06
League Position:-1st in Division 3
League Challenge Cup:-1st round
League Cup:-3rd round
Scottish Cup:-1st Round

I got a young striker in on loan and an attacking midfielder on a free transfer. We domintated the league but did fall into several ruts that fortunately never lead to a serious losing streak but it did worry me that maybe a slightly tougher league could really test my boys.

'06-'07
League Position:-1st in Division 2
League Challenge Cup:-1st round(I hate the LCC :thdn
League Cup:-2nd round
Scottish Cup:-Quarter Finals

I brought in a central defender on loan, signed an aging but excellent striker and a defensive midfielder jr came up through the ranks. We started to string together the odd losing streak but fortunately were able to hold on to top spot. Oh and in the Scottish Cup, we thrashed SPL's Rangers and Fallkirk and took Motherwell to a replay(Motherwell ended up winning the thing, beating Celtic)

'07-'08
League Position:-6th in Division 1
League Challenge Cup:-1st round(I REALLY hate the LCC :thdn
League Cup:-1st round
Scottish Cup:-1st round

2 loan signings(no real money for transfers) on the left sides of the defence and midfield kept the team together, that was seemingly totally out of it's depth at times. To be honest we were lucky not to be in the relegation battles, rather than being unlucky to not be in the race for promotion. Oh and I can't explain the sucky year in the cups......

There you go, I hope that all seems above board and I welcome any criticisms/praise/smart ass commments/pop culture references to the A-Team. OH and if you want to know who won what, ask and I shall try to remember, lol.

p.s. It's nice to be back, on the SI forums and particularly in the LLM section.

Whoa! skyrocketting promotion! In three seasons three tiers... amazing. KUTGW! I wonder if that balloon will deflate soon, or if it is a PSP bug

How's them finances? In FM 2007 Hampden Park would virtually always send QP into bankruptcy.
