Defensively, you work out what they're good at, you work out how to stop them doing that, and finally work out who you've got that can do that.

Offensively, you do what your players seem to do best/least badly, unless they seem to be doing something that'll stop you doing that.

Sorry if that's not much help, but all I wanted to do was help you ask yourself the right questions. LLM is about improving your tactical abilities with trial, error and common sense. Well... that's the idea. More often than not it ends in failure, but hey, it's fun

Tactics are putting your left footed players on the left, your right footed players on the right and all others in the middle.

If you're feeling really clever you might find a way to get them all pointing in the same direction, careful here because there are at least 4 possibilities.

That'll serve you well in Serie A, in Argentina division 2 BlueMoon's option is best, although he's really made it more complex than he should.

I'd agree. I'd never thought of putting my no-footed players in the middle before.

I guess only the players with no feet can "hoof" it out, given that hoofs and feet are mutually exclusive?

When we got to the final of the Edinburgh East Sunday Amateurs League Cup in 1986 (me coaching  ), the mantra which saw us there was "If in doubt, hoof it out!"

We lost.
