2021-2022

Well, that's probably the best I have ever done with a **** team in FM.

Forest Green were the unlucky bastards to employ me this season and I was quite suprised that I only needed to bring in a few players and the squad was sorted. We ended up ****ing a playoff spot after being there or there abouts all season. We ended up finishing 6th by 5 points after the usual crap run when it most mattered. We managed to score 125 goals this season though, one of four clubs to get triple digit goals.

A few funny things to note. First of all, Crystal Palace playing in the Blue Square Premier (They won the league though). Oh, Burnley and Leyton Orient playing champions league football.

How do you manage to fly through seasons at this pace? You don't watch 2D games I assume?

I play all day (It's usually in the background while I am doing something else), I have a fast computer, I don't tinker with tactics that much and I may holiday between games, although if I am enjoying it like with East Fife and FGR I will be more inclined to pay more attention.

Craig you might have to put some time aside, the latest version of the ME is quite compulsive viewing.
I actually play on extended highlights now because the play is absorbing and there are lots of new little touches.

I "only" have it on highlights, but you get to see the majority of chances and a lot of play. On average I'm guessing 15 minutes a game.

In a way I wish I could fly through seasons like this, cause the game gets a lot more interesting later on when today's stars retire. But I like the stats and history too much to not check it out from time to time. And heavy scouting means I have to check out a zillion reports each season.

I'm well over a day real-time gaming per season. Thought it must be said it's often on while I'm doing other stuff.

Key Highlights a few notches away from the fastest setting and match speed on the fastest is the way for me.
