There is a fairly-sized stadium, finances more or less OK and the chairman wouldn't dream of leaving. I've already had a feeder and the chairman set a parent club link up as well (Ihan and Domzale).
According to the team information screen we hate every other team in Ljubljana
I looked at the miserable squad.
I thought we should hate ourselves, too.
No staff to start with, so first I was off to the job centre. Took the earliest articipants. The pleasant surprise was the application of two quite good scouts (though one of them is a lazy arse), only problem that they joined so late that we ran out of the transfer period with signings!
I took some young players Domzale offered to me and we were off.

First friendy was against divisional rivals Bela Krajina and we were beaten 7-0 at home
We were massively hopeless until I realised that team knows **** about zonal defence. We were playing spectacular games with loads of goals, as my defence seemed to be unable to concede less than 2 goals per game. In the winter break I snapped up a few free players and we managed to pull away from the relegation battle Finished a comfortable 6th. Pacey loanee ST won Top Goalscorer Award.

Signed a few former loanees. Extended two loans, loaned 2 more, including a highly talented ST who was giving me much grief last year, when he played for Bela Krajina. Something of a risky business as I knew he had a broken thigh, and will be out of action for the autumn.
Defence tightened up \o/, goals dried up /o\. We were still competitive in most games, and flirted briefly with catching the promotion playoff spot, but then crashed back into the ground. An improvement, nevertheless.
3rd NK Slovan 12-8-7, 32-20, 44 pts
Reached the last 16 in the cup, then we were humiliated by our feeder team, Ihan. Gutted

Signed last year's disappointing loanee ST on a permanent deal. Released most midfielders as they were not of any use, realising only that the ones who want to join us are similarly hopeless.
We've had a very good autumn, although the lone promotion spot was already given to Mura after the first half of games: they were off with a 14-1-0 record and walked the league, after predicted only 7th.
Spring started well, but we lost the key derbies to the other teams challenging for the promotion playoff spot. Picked up form with a few games to go, but the first choice keeper was injured, and his backup let in silly goals Finished on a low, and in 4th place after a more promising season.
Former loanee ST was quality. Won all team awards as well finishing 2nd in the top goalscorer list with 17, and awarded the Signing of the Year prize.
4th NK Slovan 11-7-9 37-33 40 pts
Reached the QF of the local Suck Ass! \o/ Gate receipt record broke against Primorje, who dispatched us a 4-0 defeat.

I'm hoping for a promotion in the next 3 years, but it's quite hard due to the huge difference in quality between the first and second division teams. Relegated teams walked the league twice, and when Triglav finally messed up the autumn last year, Mura took the league by storm.
