We'll never get out of here.

Summer transfer period was OK, finally some reinforcements have arrived, especially the attacking department looked much healthier.

We started the league fine, spent the winter in 2nd place, which meant promotion playoff. Triglav were runaway leaders, we were within a point with Nafta and Bela Krajina.

Unfortunately we struggled in two home games against weak sides (only 1 point), and when Triglav beat us at home, I knew it was not gonna be our season. Kept ourselves in the race until 3 games to go, then collapsed against promotion rivals Nafta in a shameful 0-4. Gutted, especially because we were only 2 points behind then

My best striker finished 2nd in the top goalscorer list with 22. He's scored 47 times in 71 appearances for the club, but Primorje activated his non-promotion release clause, so he moves on this summer.

Cup was OK, we were out in the 3rd round against our parent team, Domzale.

Squad was much better both in quality and in depth than ever before. Autumn was a bit tough, some fixture congestions and my old tactic not doing the trick didn't help much. A tactic change was done in November and we've been much better afterwards.

We went in for the spring two points behind Mura, and way behind Nafta. We did everything we could, including a 10-match unbeaten run, but in the last game we needed to beat runaway league leaders (and champions) Nafta, while hoping that Mura screws up at relegated Jesenice.

No such luck. We drew away, Mura won, they are in the playoffs.
Damn We're cursed.

One more try next year. I hope that Mura can't win the playoffs, as they do look beatable. Probably freshly relegated Livar can walk the league next year as usual, but Mura can be caught.

Board was considering giving me an offer until the last round, now they will propose next week.

We were out from the cup in the 2nd round, much to the board's disappointment. I think Zavrc put something of a curse on us this year: 1-4 H, 0-1 A, 1-0 H in the league, 0-1 in the cup.

Team is strenghtened yet again, and to my surprise no team runs away with the title as usual. We continue ur unbeaten streak from last spring, whch ends after 20 games at the hands of Livar. We even spend a week at the top, then finish 4th after the autumn, 4 pts behind Livar, and 1 behind surprise team Aluminij and Mura.

In the winter break we splash 60K on a 18-year-old ST, who proves he's worth every penny: the guy adds 10 goals in 11 games and finishes the season with 19 goals.

With more firepower up front we move to second, Mura screws up, and Livar pulls away. Three games to go, and we are 5 points clear.

Then we lose to Aluminij, draw the next game, and we find ourselves trailing one point to them for the 2nd spot race. Livar comfortably wins the title.

In the last round we beat Portoroz-Piran 1-0, and Aluminij break under pressure: they only draw 2-2 at Zavrc! \o/

This means promotion playoff against fierce rivals Interblock

First match: they have more chances, and take the lead from a free-kick after 20 minutes. We pull level in the 79th, and the result is really good for the home leg!

The return leg sees much less action, but unfortunately Aluminij find the only goal, while we are unable to take a shot on target (we were 8/0 ). Playoffs suck
