Changing 3 sliders in my main tactic and then going from LLLDLXL to LWWWWW :eek:

Said change has seen us overcome an 8 point deficit and leapfrog from 9th to 6th with only 4 matches to go in Scots 1st Division.

However, 2nd and 9th positions are at spitting distance (5 points with 34 matches gone).

I had exactly the same situation in my save last night, watching the keeper scramble back was joyful.

Keeper was out at the edge of his box, and in my imagination it looked like he mis-kicked it, ball was still moving at quite a pace. I don't think he even went after it.

Gotta love those slippery surfaces.

I know relatively little (Read bugger all) about Scottish football, apart from the fact it has a prtestant and catholic club from Glasgow who are quite good, and some Sugar Daddy propelled a small team called Gretna to the Premier division, and yet the in game randomiser seemed to think that East Fife could hold me in their sway

I'm loving the fan confidence - I got slated in the press for not being flexible with my tactics after going 5 games on the bounce without scoring...

...however, I'm not changing my tactics because the fans say so! My strikers went through a bad spell and we were creating chances!

All of a sudden, I know what it must be like to be a proper manager with all these no-it-alls telling you what you should and shouldn't be doing!

To all those GQ'ers saying this game is unplayable, thanks to good use of my scouts & coaches along with taking time to consider my tactics I've secured promotion from Serie C2 at the first attempt. Stick that in your pipes & smoke it.

Also winning the promotion play-off 5-4 on agg after being 4-1(agg) down at half time in the second leg will be keeping me going till the small hours tonight.
