I'm starting to get horrible fed up with update threads tbh. CBA to read any of them anymore. Used to enjoy it, but now it's just "FFS, another one?!"

I started unatached, they were the first team to aproach me ( make that the only team ). Im currently doing ***** in the second division bu did beat some first division teams in the intermediate league cup  . Norn Iron sure has a lot of cups. AVS you do realise that there is going to be a new league in Ireland, starting next season, or do you know this

Yeah I noticed that Padriagos. Infact I think you play about 5 or 6 cup games before you even play your 1st league game!

Although I personally think that is a blessing. As you can "experiment" with your team, without really worrying if you win or lose.

I apologise PadrAIgos. Did not intend to make it sound Spanish! lol

Hmmm...Its the opposite way around for me. I tend to lose the cup games i play.

I enjoyed some update threads, especially by people who are able to restrict themselves to posting just the essence of the spirit of LLM. There are lots of funny incidents taking place that are worth sharing. Too many people think though that it's not the facts worth sharing but the mentioning of what round in the cup you got beaten or what Manchester United did in the season 2017/2018 or whatever.

But one can't expect top quality of beginners, we all had to start some time.

Yeah I am aware of this but from what I've read FM doesn't figure it properly and just throws in Mullingar Town in the 09 reshuffle instead the team that won the promotion playoff. I thinkf the Mullingar Town thing is some holdover from FM07.

And Cosmo, I remember chucking in what happened to ManU in my last update around the 2015 mark because I thought it was interesting (relegation, players leaving in droves, subsequent mid-table mediocrity, etc.). Others seemed to as well. Still, can't please everyone.

I haven't got this far myself but I realised that this Mullingar team ( Muliingar! What a shithole of a place, but not as bad as Leitrim )
take Weford's place in the League Cup. Maybe the reason for Mullingar taking this playoff place is because, too my knowledge no teams have been picked for the A championship (except for Premeir Division resrve teams).
