I was not trying to trick you into bragging Boltman. It was just a friendly "How is it going" type question. I am just curious to see how other people who are playing as QUB are progressing.

i do not see that as against the rules. Or am I mistaken. Again!

my board keeps going over my head when a bid of more than £50k comes in! How can I stop this?
I don't think you can. Some chairman are more cash hungry than others, and that seems to be dependant on the club and personality of the chairman.

Ultimately, if you don't like it, the only recourse you have is to put up and hope the board has a takeover and changes the chairman. Or, leave and hope your next club has a more understanding boss.

Just messing with you

I just won the second division with about 5 games to spare, meaning the season was over in January

looking forward to next season as the first division teams don't seem to be any better than the dross in the second.

They are slightly better than Division 2. Although i only played the first few Cup games and 1 League game before my save game became corrupt

I do have a previous save though. Is got about 15-20 hours less game play on it. than the current save I'm using. So it looks like I'll be back in Division 2 again

This is not bragging Scottn72. I have not gone into any detail about my teams results. Granted, yes I did mention that my team had been promoted, but that was NOT intended as a brag.

I am just wanting to see how other people who manage the same team as me are doing.

Wasn't meant to be taken too seriously.

But to be honest, finding out how others are doing, is part of what update threads are for.

It helps to avoid discussions about who won what with who.

They are right here in this forum.

Some of them are disguised as potboosting threads though.

I'll ruin you like I ruined this football club by Rourke is one higher up this page.

You should really try and read some of those treads, they are quite a good read sometimes.
