Default One sided games that you lose

Hi guys
anyone else coming across games where you have over 605 of posscession, the shot count is like 30-40 in your favour and the other team has around 6 shots in total, the opposition goalkeeper has a 9 rating after the game and the other team have won?
I'm seeing that quite a bit and it doesn't seem right.
Anyone else noticed or had similar experiences?

well, apparently this is all down to your tactics, i know it sounds paradoxical to dominate a game and yet still have bad tactics, but thats how the programmers of the game engine think football works

My own feeling on this is that some of problem is a result of tactics, and some is result of flaws in the game.

There have been many posts about player's inabilities to make good on their chances, the number of long shots despite instructions against it, and in general teams massively outplaying their opponent and losing. I think all of those are valid points, but I also think your tactics can make the situation worse.

For example I have seen many times situations where I get a lot of shots, but not many of them were of great quality. This was definitely because of tactics and I left my players with no choice but to shoot. Some of these types of things can be tweaked but issues such as the 1-on-1 bug can't. I went back to beta 1 because of it.

It's also how football works sometimes.

Arsenal v CSKA Moscow in Champions League last season (I know it finished 0-0) would spring to mind as a one-sided game.

One would assume it is an example of something he sees more often.

This has, in fact, happened to me in every football game that I have ever played.

They must put in in the game deliberately because they hate us . . .

Over the 25 or so years I've been watching football & the few years I played there were a number of games that I would leave thinking either how the f*~* did we win/lose that one, the Arsenal example is just a recent one.

As for the game itself I don't believe the instances of the super-keeper phenomenon is as common as is made out & we also benefit from them as well.

Seems to happen when i'm playing teams mid table or near the bottom of the Conference, The other keeper seems to get an 8 or an 9 and gets the MOM award, Don't have any particular long shot thing set up, I can tell when it'll happen as I'll start to get a few offsides and a penalty saved then I know what the outcome is gonna be lol.
I know Soccer is unpredictable, but some of these games become very predictable, especially when the Offsides/penaltys and the old line " He somehow got his fingertips to it" starts to happen
