During the season, I usually go on holiday between matches to speed things up...When the reserve team has a match while I'm holiday, my assistant likes to use some of my first team players in the reserve games..How can I stop this? The players are too tiered for me to use in the games that matter and now I've lost my best gk to injury for 4 months because my assistant is an ass and used him in a reserve match...I just want to strangle him.

I'm at work so I can't check at the moment but isn't there an option in Manager options to tell the ass man to use the same team you have listed in tactics where available?

Might get me shouted at, but would you really spend vastly more time just by playing the game without going on holiday? All the processing time can't save much more time than if you just played the game.

Maybe your assistant secretly wants your job so is deliberately knackering your best players in the reserves then blaming you for it. Now if SI could program that in that would be interesting...
