This games should come with warning for your mental health!
I can't believe how much this game can effect on my mood, if I'm winning I'm in fantastic form but when I'm losing I'm not worth being in the same room! Anyone else find this?

The air has been known to turn blue around me, especially om FM08 when someone should be doing something other than wandering around. Some of the decisions beggar belief, even when the player has low mental attributes. You could probably avoid some of the errors even if playing by instinct, let alone having been coached. And that is why I swear at my PC a lot.
So yes, definitely affects mood, but not for too long. It's only a game after all.

I think what is stressful about it is going on streaks.
When you are on a winning streak, you are hoping it does not end. And also you worry about your next loss being the start of a losing streak.
Part of that probably has to do with morale. So I think it would less stressful if there was an pre game option to fix morale at Okay for every player. So each match is more one off. It is not affected by what happened in the last match.
Of course this is less realistic. But I think it is more relaxed and less stressful.

Personally I enjoy the fact that my team has good games, along with bad games. Not only is it realistic, but it challenges me to bring the team back if they are on a losing streak, and do as much as possible to keep them on a winning streak. That does not mean I have never been angry as a result of fm08, (especially when one player missed an open goal),however I can say that a winning steak does tend to make me much happier outside of the game

Had to turn it off last night after one too many last minute equalisers for the opposition. A good watch of QI, My Name Is Earl or Top Gear dooes the trick. With a beer. And a pizza. And a woman.

Myt girlfriend knows when to talk to me and when not to talk to me just by looking at the screen at the score. If I'm winning she's allowed. She made the mistake of laughing at me getting beaten once.....just once!
