Is this a known bug in the latest patch of the game? Although the 2d match has always been very poor to watch, it is now almost useless. My games now are ridiculous end to end encounters, no matter how defensive you set the tactics.
In an average game my side will get probably 9 or 10 clear one on one chances. I honestly can't remember seeing any of them go in first time, some on the rebound with a tap in for another player, but none where the striker either rounds the keeper and scores or finishes past them.
It's annoying these blatant bugs keep cropping up, as the rest of the game seems pretty solid on the latest patch. (Mind you it should do as the game never changes apart from minor, often useless features to reflect modern events).
I don't know if it can be classed as a bug, rather it's a feature of the match engine that isn't particularly realistic. Much has been made of the sheer amount of one-on-ones, and how infrequently they go in.
It didn't happen in the beta 1 or beta 2 patch. Granted, you could say, the scorelines in beta 1 & 2 tended to be slightly higher than normal. But I'd rather have that then "one on one" "kick to the keeper's chest" over and over.
Seriously and I say this from even a clan point of view as I never play the game on single player but is it set to a stupid mega hard setting. Lost out on the Uefa Cup Final.
Its not the fact I lost it’s the way the game seems to play out. Firstly you could run a double Decker bus at the GK and he’d stop it….all this your forwards miss in real life, your team has a bad game etc well nope had 35 shots on 18 on target to there 5 shots 3 on we drew 1-1…
ET Nothing apart from a pen save by them.
Then goes to pens four players miss the first four pens. –Yes it could happen but it seem to happen or expected with Fm these days. The rule looks like your highly talented striker runs a goal what percentage
Does he score with ease from distance
Does he round the keeper and slot it in.
Does he fire it high and wide.
Does he get brought down by the keeper
Does he chip the keeper.
Percentage must go to a goal but I’d say the guy running that’s nearly world class has not a percentage to score but looks like a percentage that he’ll miss………and its mostly high.
It’s a rant ,its late
Fm just does not feel right these days…something has overcomplicated the way the game plays out…..
