I have searched, and only a thread for FM07 came up, so would like some advice re:08 (fully patched)
Just some tips on how best to defend when the AI reverts to its trusted 4-2-4 when they are chasing the game would be really helpful
Me specifically, i usually play a Jose-style 4-1-2-2(wingers)-1 formation, or your bog-standard 4-4-2 from the outset.
However, general tips are fine, as i'm not afraid to overhaul my tactics during a game to counter the opposition in the last 10-15 minutes - if they can do it without disrupting their own play, then so can I!
If any one feels extra helpful, maybe a cheeky tip on how i can implement the same 4 up front style as the AI. Sometimes i am chasing the game, and think 'well, i'll go 4 up top, it works for them', and proceed to have 0 key highlights in the last 15 minutes!!! (appreciate i may need a seperate thread for this)
I play a tactic with no FWR, no RWB for my FB, I set my wingers to WB position, my MC to DMC with barrow, and my strikers with sarrow. Focus down the flanks, set time wasting on. It does the trick for me ...
