My top two strikers have over 20 goals combined between them...however I have almost never played them together. When I do, their efficiency is evidently reduced by quite a lot. So instead I've got one more support striker who supplies them with passes...but I'd really love to play them both and deal some heavy damage

Anyone with any success stories to share?

I think setting them as target men with target man supply run onto ball helps. But you need good passers in midfield who can provide through passes.

Even though in FM2007 the effect of the big targetman was over emphasised, in this version i think you can survive without one

Two similar strikers get ine ach others way in reality too... A fast striker works best with a provider...
