after reading the tactics bible on formations containing sweepers i decided to give it a go. my goal is to use the combined knowledge on the forum to tweak the tactic into one that will work and become effective. i am sure it will be a bit diificult but here we go, i do not have any screenshots but the layout of the tactic is a diamond in the back, sweeper two central defenders and a dm, in front of them i have placed a flat four midfield with slight farrows on the wing and two forwards up front. I played around with the idea of placing the wingers further up the pitch but decided against it as they need to get back and defend. at first i had sarrows on the two center backs but found they were drawn out of the middle to easily leaving the center open. the two center backs have high closing down while the sweeper has low, the center backs also man mark the opposition forwards supposing there are two, and the dm man marks if the opposition are playing an attacking mid with high creativity.
anyway here is the link to the tactic i've come up with so far, lets see if we cant get this one going. villasweep
