Hi, Ive read alot of the 4 1 3 2 tactics on here, but the 3 midfielders are always playing wide, personally im creating a tactic 4 1 3 2 but the 3 midfielders play in middle and dont go wide, has anyone had success with this?

As for width i play mixed, Passing short and tempo fast. and target man ( berbatov) to feet, and passing through middle.

I havnt been with this tactic for long but the 3 midfielders play close together and pass it in triangles, very attractive.

So has anyone had success with this or will it bomb???

My tactic uses a narrow system and i've found much the same as you, neat attractive football and yes, it works.
