I titled my tactic RaZoR because ever since 8.01, I've been trying and trying to come up with a tactic that dominates possession, at home and awway, is tight at the back and has that cutting edge up front.
RaZoR provides me all of the above, astonishingly.
I play as Newcastle, who are, (since 8.01) as iin real life, bloody difficult to win with.
So, I set about trying to sort out a tactic which I could win again with. I seem to have found something of a decent set up and although I'm not detroying teams or winning all the time etc, my results, since using RaZoR have been really good.
The tactic is a 4-5-1 essentially.
4 defs
3 central mids
2 wide attacking mids
1 lone striker
I won't rattle on about how you need this type of player or that type etc.
Suffice to say that the middle midfielder of the three has defensive settings, the other two, far more attacking.
Every other position is as you would expect and believe me, I don't have any truely exceptional players.
I imagine that as long as you put a RB in the RB place and an AMR in the AMR place, you should be ok.
I'm convinced that at top clubs this tactic should work really well, though I've not tested this anywhere else.
Please, have a bash at it and all feedback welcome.
Trying not to 'bump' and not blow my trumpet like, but still doing really well with this tactic.
I only wish I had a decent striker - then again, I've seen written a fair few times now that teams are creating losts of chances but there appears to be some sort of scoring problem when one on one?
As this is a lone striker tactic, there does seem to be a fair few one on ones, I have Vanger Love (Owen/Martins both sold) and he wastes many chances.
Farfan on left scores regularly and Nihat on right chips in but wastes a fair few too - but these wasted chances are good chances and I get the impression since 8.01, that the match engine score/chance ratio is a bit knackered?

Yip.
Oddly enough, West Ham and Spurs bid for him. I refused the first bids, but then Owen became unhappy, so I sold him for 12.5million as no one else bothered - cheap, I know.
Sold Martins for 13million (his clause).
Now have Guilerme? or Vanger Love as main striker
I've checked the download link - working for me?
If there is anywhere else better I can upload it, let me know.
Sorry to 'bump' this but over 300 views and no-one has so far offered any feedback?
Has anyone actually tried the tactic?
Is the download link not available / broken?
I'm still doing really well with an average Newcastle side.
I will try it out with the likes of Liverpool, Man Utd, Barca etc and see if I get in different results.
It might just be that this only works well with the players I have in my team?
