have you made sure that the game has saved properly before turning off ? as i've played about 10 seasons across 5/6 different games and never had this happen

Yeah Ive never had a problem, I do save on a regualr basis and with several different files.
I usually use the current date then A,B,C etc so I know exactly which to resume.
Try that, otherwise could it be a hardware problem? is the HDD securely in place, are you away from magentic interference etc?

loads of folk were having this problem. all you need to do is save your game as usual & wait until you can control your team again before you switch the machine off. something happens to the saves sometimes & it doesn't go to the end of the save bar, it'll stop before it reaches half way. if this happens, you need to wait 5mins or so until you can control your team & save it again.

You need to ensure that once the game has saved you are back in control and can navigate around the screen before going back to dashboard or switching the console off.

On some rare occasions the save dialog disappears too quickly and it may seem as if the game has saved but it has not. The corruption is caused by exiting the game while it is still saving the data.

If you wait until you can navigate around again then you should not suffer from this problem.
