Right here goes. At home i play a 442 formation with arrows going forward from my wingers. I play a fairly attacking style of football. Most of the time i win at home comfortably. But when im away its a different story. I play slightly more defensivly away, but keep the same formation. Sometimes i win, but more often than not againsta half decent team, i lose. I am playin with liverpool and my line up usually is -
Morientes and Cisse dont really have probs finding the net, with 30+ between them so far. My subs usally are Crouch, Nihat, Agger, Sissoko, Hamman, Kewell and Fowler.
Does anyone have any ideas how to play better away from home?
Its better to be defensive away from home, Maybe keep the same tactic that is bringing you success at home, switch to playing on the counter attack, and drop down the attacking mentality a notch or two.
seems to be working for me, I usually sneak it with the odd goal, however I took several games for the tactic to work, I drew my first 5 games away, but then started winning.
Im now on a 7 game winning streak away from home, and still unbeaten at home.
