Default Keeping FM2006 saves for FM2007

Well, i am doing fairly well with liverpool Premiership and Champs League in first season. If my success continues, it would be a shame to jack it when FM2007 comes out. So i pose this question to the developers -

Is there anyway possible you could make FM2007 sort of backwards comatible with FM2006 save games?

Just a thought!

Thanks!

It's never going to be possible because of the major differences between versions. When we do patches for the PC version it's sometimes difficult to retain saved games to work with those.

It may not appear to be very many changes, but the database fields, new features and rule group changes make it impossible to retain compatability between versions.
