Anyone else having problems creating a decent tactic for they 360 version?

I generally play a 4-4-2 with the two DC's set ultra-defensive, one MC, defensive, low creativity, closing down, hard tackling and the other MC as the playmaker with everythig that goes with him

Everyone else is normal and I play slightly defensive with mid to high tempo.

However, I can't seem to crack the Premiership with a lower Prem team (Wigan, Portsmouth etc)

Anyone else experience this?

well, being millwall in the premiership i play a highly defencive side against the more better teams
normally a 6-3-1 with counter

and 5-4-1 normal switching to attacking against normal teams,

i play adebayour upfront as a lone striker, he bagged 32 goals last season.
and i got 4th place.

i play as millwall only into my second season and in premiership, also expected to battle relegation.

i play a very defencive 6-3-1 against harder teams, i play with counter

5-4-1 against the easier teams,

i achieved 4th place

I am with tactics OK actually. I took Wycombe up to 7th in my first season in the Prem with a 4-4-2 diamond formation (and since taken Charlton to win the Champs League, Uefa cup, 2 League Cups and an FA Cup in 2 yrs) - home games the AMC bombs forwards. The wide men in midfield have 1 step forward farrows. The strikers play attacking mentality, the AMC has team mentality and low closing down, the DMC has high closing down and defensive tendancies (about 1/4 the way up the slider). The full backs have slightly above normal attacking tendencies and have 'forward runs' and 'run with ball' on full. The CBs have defensive mentality and no fancy features.

Nothing special in the league, but great in cups

I've pretty much cracked it.

Only team out of 10 it hasn't worked with is West Ham.

This encompasses Frankfurt, Bilbao, Oxford, St Pauli, Vicenza etc

However you have to have an excellent target man to play my system. I'll post it up at some point.
