Even if my team plays good and in my opinion my DMF plays good, he VERY rarely gets "8" as his rating. And if he does get 8, it's only because he scored or something similar. Most common is 6 and 7. He's doing what I ask him to do and doing it well.

Patch fixed defender ratings in my opinion good, but right now - at least for me - it seems DMF match rating needs some fixing, or am I alone here?

No I agree. I am currently managing Reading, and Harper always seems to get 6 or 7 rating even though he seems to be playing well

same here, no matter how good my DMC play we always gets 6 or 7 rating. this is probably because of the "players dont tackle bug" that showed up with 8.0.1 official patch. and to be honest the official patch screwed up all players and that's why i went back to beta patch...

Yeah, I noticed this problem. 8 is when the DMC scores, else it is always a 7 or 6. Finds it rather frustrating when the DMC is the best player in the team? Sighs...

Hmm could explain why i have gone through 3 DM's in 3 years because they average well below 7.0.

yeah same problem. liverpools mascherano AND xabi alonso both rarely get high ratings and even if you put a top player like gerrard in that position they still doesnt get rated

Agreed. It is a real problem sometimes. Also if you use a wide style of play with good wingers, it can often be the same for the MC position(s) getting low ratings.

i play hargreaves in dm and ive alwasy thort he wasnt doing a good job just getting 7's but lately been looking at his stats he has been getting lots of key passes about 4-6 each game
