i switched computers and recently had to download the patch again but it won't open for me, it say error. any ideas as to why?

Okay here it is...

C.Documents snd settings\...\my documents\sports interactive\football manager 2008\fm2008_v8.0.1_patch is not a valid win 32 application

any ideas?

Seems like a broken file. Try downloading it yet again from another source. Are you sure you got the right version?
