Default Never again.....

Will i take over a struggling team mid-way through the season.

After around 20 games through the Premiership Middlesbrough were 19th 6 points below 17th place, i turned it around and was 15th with 2 games to go , the board terminated my contract.

From now on i think i'll just wait until the close season to apply/change jobs.

I never take over struggling clubs mid season even if its a massive step up because your not guaranteed the job even if you succeed. Seems fairly harsh though.

your just a replacement till they can find someone better or someone who they couldn't lure into their club and now can

They don't always blame you for a poor season though. It depends alot on your reputation and the "Patience" attribute of your Chairman.

I never said it wern't realistic although, they hired Stuart Pearce (Reputation - National), when mine was continental.

Also why did i get offered a 2 year deal if they only ever intended to keep me until for half a season?
