8.01 To patch or not to patch - that is the question
Undeniably a patch was needed and WE were not patient so a rushed release would be partly our fault. The following annoys me though.
1/ England play home games away from Wembley (old Trafford etc)
2/ Summer weather / pitches more akin to Winter conditions
3/ Tactics made during demo or pre patch are not effective
4/ less that 50% success rate in pen shoot outs for & against
and others.
I felt I had to patch due to some unacceptable bugs (the one where a team losing a pen shoot out still wins the tie was a corker!) but now feel more of the FM charm has been grinded away.
Im afraid I have nothing constructive to say except that pre patch before I noticed the bugs the game showed more promise that any other release.

if you want world class players playing like lower league players, missing 5 times 1-on-1 in one match then full patch is for you, if you want a decent match engine but with other bugs like players retiring and not becoming staff members then go for beta patch. i'm playing with beta patch atm.

Im with DeathSpawn on this one- you do get too many goals in the betas but at least strikers score when they should (not that they score all the time), and generally its a whole lot more enjoyable whether you win or lose than the full version patch currently is.
