Hi im trying to sign this 16 year old regen for my cowdenbeath team. The problem is His club keep offering him a new deal as the transfer is about to go through and he keeps accepting it. Its really frustrating because i did player interaction and it said he would jump at the chance to play for me. I'm offering him well over what he wants mainly so i can get him on full-time contract and also a signing on fee but nothing he still accepts £10 a week contract from his irish club. Anybody know of a way to get round it?

Isnt that the challenge of football manager? i got them promoted and kept them up in the 1st division with quite a young and talented squad so i would appreciate if u gave me some helpful advice rather than making comments which dont help at all.

Smudge, don't listen to ric the 2nd, he is a bit of a nonce. He trolls the board every now and again.

I can't really offer you any advice, just sympathy as this has happened to me on a few occasions when I have been a smaller team. It gets very annoying after a while I know.

p.s. good name, my nickname irl is smudge and it feels wierd calling someone else it for a change.
