When the referee make a controversial decision, going against the opposite team, I am often asked to say my opinion about the situation. What consequences does my statement have? When the decision goes against my team I could get banned for slamming of the ref, but when it's in my favour what happens if I e.g agree whit the ref and the decision was wrong?
I don't think there are consequences in such a situation though you would have to try it out to be sure. I know that when you label a decision that went in favor of your team as harsh you usually get a couple of good player reactions, who appreciate your ability to show sympathy for the opposition, but I've only used that option when the decision was actually a wrong one.
I usually say the referee made the right decision, even though I think it was wrong. It doesn't seem to do any difference, but maybe it affects the relationship between you and other managers.
