Hello i was wondering if someone could tell me if there are any stipulations for the spanish release clauses?
Im ac milan and dont have any transfer funds in the bank and i wanted to sign gisueppe rossi for next season. he has a 15M release clause however when i offered them the release fee (a straight up transfer with no clauses and for the decision to be decided in a day) villareal told me that they wouldnt be rushed into any decision.
So my question is do i need the funds in the bank in the first place for the bid to be accepted or is this a bug problem?

why did you put a deadline?
w/o funds, either the board will back you, or you won't be able to sign the guy. the offer would be accepted as usual though.
because i wanted to get in there before any of the other clubs did, ill try again without offering a deadlinbe, however i am still curious to know if the release fee is only applicable to spanish clubs only?
As far as I was aware, Spanish players don't have release clauses in the same way. Players can buy out their own contracts from the club by paying the buyout clause, but it does not mean that clubs have to automatically accept a bid if it meets that clause as it is only for the player if he wants to buy his way out. That's why the clauses are usually so high, I think it's a regulation that they have to put these clauses in contracts so they put them in at £80m or £100m to stop players moving every 5 minutes.
