Is there a lot of hype over a man who is really not a very good footballer, he has some talent with dead ball situations, but so do a lot of other players? I live in Australia and he has just toured here with the LA Galaxy, I went to the game and I have to say that I was not impressed with the man called Beckham, and the Galaxy, well, they were very average. It seemed to me that Beckham was only interested in selling his new line of perfumes, and taking his shirt off, it's sad to see football used as a vehicle for a player who isn't that good selling perfume.
Beckham is mediocre at dead ball situtions there are plenty out there better than him ... and he doesnt have very many quality's but he does quite alot for football off the pitch.. but I dont know how he rakes in millions every year when there are top class footballers out there who earn less....
Beckham, Overrated Yes but probably because he is the most profiled player on the planet.
