The problem on your end is that you've used the wrong folder. You put it in the Sports Interactive folder grouping in My Documents.

Hey Figo -If you would open up the editor and spend as much time "fixing" the problems as you did complaining like a 7 year old you would have your Toronto FC with the right players etc...

Most people don't upload an edited database with the intention of having others get it right.

Omni - quick question...

In game, on 7/1/2007 there were 8 or 9 transfers from PLA (or 2nd div) clubs to teams like Arsenal, Man U, Real Madrid, etc. that were for way over 1 Billion dollars each.

Was this designed into the database? Meaning, did you pre-load these transfers into your db?

Are there any more surprises?

Oh yeah, sorry. I did that on purpose for my own purposes...because a lot of those teams are too poor in the US league and I wanted to "even" things out a bit. But that's the only surprises I can recall doing with that. I should've put that out there, but I forgot and I didn't "fix" the league to get rid of those surprises before I released it to the public (since I didn't make it with that intent when I adapted it originally..)

So you can go through and change the database pre-game to get rid of those, but I don't even remember what I did when I did them, I just recall when I ran through the first few times, the PLA teams weren't making major purchases and infusing them with cash out of the gate didn't seem to work. But then, I was playing with the European leagues on, so..I can imagine if you have them on, that might be annoying.

I sure did. He posted it on another board I belong to, I posted it there first and I put it out there on that board that I used his db as the foundation for my db. The only difference in my db that a lot of the team names are different (I like more realism) and there are some other more subtle changes, that I made more and more as I got into it.

But it wasn't any big secret that I used the foundation of someone else's db to create mine.
