Version 3.0 of FMFormation's Database Update is released!

The past couple of months our scouting team has worked overtime to make sure you guys get the best database update possible. We are very proud of this update and we hope you will all like it.

While everyone said it wasn't possible, we fixed to remove the points deduction for clubs like Milan, Fiorentina and Lazio. Even tho we fully tested it, it's still possible that there are some things wrong with it. If you find anything that is incorrect don't hestitate to post it!

We want to keep this topic nice and simple. That's why we created a Read Me which got pretty much all the information in it. Please visit FMFormation's Database Update Readme (For Football Manager 2007) for an INSTALLATION GUIDE, F.A.Q. and other things that are good to know.

The finances of the clubs will be totally uptodated when the transfer period is over. This is because clubs are constantly buying new players and if we want to keep the finances updated, we would have to update it almost every day.


Features:

<LI> REMOVED POINTS DEDUCTION FOR MILAN, LAZIO, FIORENTINA, REGGINA, SIENA AND CRAWLEY.

<LI> Thousands of transfers and loans processed. Also retirements, new contracts etc etc.

<LI> Over 800 new players added. Created over 200 players from Japan. Don't forget to load all players from Japan!

<LI> Staff changes. Hired managers, resigned manager, new chairmen etc. etc.

<LI> Renewed contracts of many players and managers.

<LI> Loans which ended have been removed. Future summer transfers have been made permanent.

<LI> Old injuries removed and a couple of new injuries added.

<LI> European qualifiers done for all European countries.

<LI> UEFA co-efficients updated.

<LI> Promotion/relegation done for a lot of countries!.

<LI> Extensive scouting for Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy, N. Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, USA and Wales.

<LI> Ireland in-dept research (checked player by player, more media added, referees adjusted, European qualifiers and much more).

<LI> Tons of England Premier League till Conference North/South transfers processed (even a huge amount of non-league transfers).

<LI> Checked Carnegie Irish League carefully for changes.

<LI> Daily checked FootballTransfers, Goal, BBC Sports and many more general transfers sites for transfers.

<LI> Swiss league has been checked club by club.

<LI> Processed a lot of Swedish transfers.

<LI> Huge amount of Portugese transfers processed.

<LI> Updated Serbian Premier Division.

<LI> U.S.A. MLS done club by club.

<LI> Added 100 USA players thanks to the MLS 2007 draft.

<LI> A lot of Norwegian transfers processed. Also contracts, player positions, retirements etc. etc.

<LI> Greece covered club by club.

<LI> Russian Premier Division has been optimized.

<LI> Germany has been hugely updated. A real victory for FMF's DB Update.

<LI> Australian A-League teams checked player by player. Extremely uptodate!

<LI> Norway has been taken care of.

<LI> Scotland club by club down to the non-league.

<LI> Created over 20 new clubs.

<LI> Processed a lot of Singaporean transfers (also club by club).

<LI> Belgium has been made uptodate..

<LI> Big lists of Argentinian transfers processed.

<LI> Brazil club by club ins and outs.

<LI> Denmark is uptodate.

<LI> Spain Segunda Division & Segunda Division B club by club.

<LI> Lot of Italian transfers processed.

<LI> Poland has been made uptodate.

This is the first public summer release so there will be some things wrong in it. Your job is to find them and post them so we can change it!

Great stuff. Always have preferred FMFormation when it comes to DB updates.

One quick question however; have player attributes been amended according to their current/potential abilities as of today? I notice some players with the 7.0.2 patch, like Pato, Anderson, Nani, and Drogba, are not entirely accurate with regards to their stats.

dazzeh - We try not to mess with the CA & PA of players. 99% of the times this is just an opinion of someone and when we start changing it, it will only cause more discussions.

Okay - thanks for the reply - just wondered that's all. I do agree with you, though. Not everyone would agree with your changes per say.

Will download it when I'm home. I have bee running on your V2.0 DB for a long time now, so this will bring a fresh change - a timely one at that.. just before the new season
