BTW since some people asked for a huge league mod, you can use XVI32 and change

Adr. hex:9065BE from 12 to # (hex) (i.e. 0E=14)
and
Adr. hex:9057AA from 12 to # (hex)
Adr. hex:9057AC from 11 to # (hex)
(Changes occur in the Welsh league)

hmm... i have been looking at the HEX code but im not so good at it... Does xxx_get_tranfer_rules call for a value? if so, where is it? :S

The Hex code will do you no good. Especially if you are not familiar with these things.

What you are looking at is whithin the function group called setup_fixture_rules. The main function of this group sets up the rules based on simple integer values. For example "07" defines non-eu restriction while "04" defines foreigners. Another value pushed right before this one, defines the number.
What you are looking for is located aprox at
Adr. hex: 91B6D1 (6A FF 6A 11 6A 15...)

The problem with this though, is that you need to change something else as well. Even though you change the fixture rules, when registering players these restrictions will still count making the effort useless. Of course there is another place to change that (I did it with the turkish leagues) but I really can't remember where and how. It's been ages ago.

If you want to verify what I am telling you, go to Adr. hex 9175B0 where you should have
6A 03 6A 02
Where "3" is amound and "2" is type. These are for the Czech leagues. Change the 2 to 7 or 4 and see the difference.

This is interesting to me as I really want to change the date that the A-League commences to make it start in July. The current player restrictions are fine, i just want to start the commencement date (not the end date because that would affect ACL qualification too much i believe)...If it is not too hard, i wouldn't mind having a crack. But i wouldn't know where to begin.

Go to Adress hex. 9388F9 (with XVI32),
where 6A 07 6A 19 = 08/25
Change 07 to 06 for july and day respectevely.
Have in mind that the league will bump into the dates for the pre-season cup.

Are you using 7.0.2 LtCyc(or a recompiled .exe file, for that matter)? Your hex adresses some to be off.

If you're using 7.0, 7.0.1 or a recompiled .exe, the addresses in the file are going to be different from everyone elses.
