Hi All,

Has anyone managed to league swap the A-League elsewhere so that there can be more teams in the A-League. I have tried quite a few times but it has never quite worked.

Truth be told it is quite frustrating that things like the number of teams in a league and league schedules etc. are hard coded in the game.

Anyone's thoughts/comments are welcome.

i would aslo be interested in this too, im kinda playing around with the australian and scottish leagues atm to change things around

I have been trying to swap the A-League into Singapore.I have the current A-League teams plus Townesville, Wollongong, Canberra and Fremantle. However, when I load the game it loads ok but doesn't create any fixtures which kinda sucks. Anyone have any ideas why?

For a simple A-League expansion simply create some teams of your choosing. Then make their division A-League. This will wipe the Australian Cup (which is annoying and unlikely to happen any time soon) and the Pre_season Cup. The finals still work as does ACL qualification. Since you can't edit the starting date of the comp it is best to only add 5 or 6 teams MAX other wise you will be playing a game every two days with a squad of 20 players (although loans are salary cap exempt...lots of socceroos that don't play in the first team in Europe don't mind signing on loan if you can afford them.).

But in spite of all this an expanded a-league is fun. I started another topic on an expanded A-League in the Editors Hideaway section. Share your thoughts.

I never play the A-League but it sounds interesting to see how you can replace other leagues
